Train Like Tiger Football Academy (TLTFA) was founded in 2018 by former international professional football player and Ivy League scholar Leslie ‘Tiger’ Fitzpatrick with the dedicated purpose of providing a platform and developmental pathway for student-athletes who are committed to honing their skill sets and advancing themselves both in their sporting and academic pursuits. TLTFA employs a player-centered and education-driven model where our athletes gain invaluable life lessons pertaining to but certainly not limited to self discipline, positive work ethic, and teamwork. In this regard, we endeavor to develop not only gifted and skillful athletes but also well-rounded individuals whose values will see them become responsible, influential and contributing members within their various communities, societies and by extension, the world at large. Along this philosophical trajectory, TLTFA offers global and professional trials and scholarship opportunities to prolific student-athletes who achieve proficiency that merits it. As such, our fully vested commitment to providing a platform and launchpad for such opportunities is rooted in the the unwavering belief that sport and education, when combined, offers the perfect, most empowering and emancipatory vehicle for enhancing and advancing the lives of the youth.
